Welcome!

LITTLE HISTORY

Skroten opened in spring 2010, but then under the name Tackel & amp; Train. Tackle & amp; Trains are located on Skeppsholmen, and is a shipping trade that has been around for over 40 years. We ran it for 4 years and were eventually offered to move our business to the New Djurgårdsvarvet. Scrap café opened in spring 2012. We wanted to create a unique and personal environment where you always felt welcome. Where you could come and enjoy all the seasons of the year over a glass of wine, a musty fish stew or a coffee with freshly baked sweets.

ABOUT US


One day we scrap boats. The second day we bring shrimp sandwiches and bake raspberry pies. From time to time we keep track of everything from shackles, fittings to train timber and lanterns. We are named Josefin Arrhénborg and Maria Rindstam and are the girls who started the country’s first boat scrap, bought a shipping trade and now also run a café at the new Djurgårdsvarvet. Sometimes others may experience what we are doing is a little messy, but we feel that everything is connected. We love the archipelago, reuse, decor and food.
